This extraordinary film chronicles the mysterious events of the 24 April 1915, when rumours started circulating that a Canadian soldier had been found crucified at St Julien near Y'pres in Belgium. The story caused international outrage and symbolised the brutality of the German army. The Germans claimed the reports were allied propaganda, a claim that was later upheld. The Crucified Soldier offers evidence that uncovers the real record of the German army.
