While nazi Germany still had the initiative, while the Luftwaffe had something to say on the british skyes and - most of all - while buzz-bombs and deadly V2 rockets still hit the core of the British Empire, for the people living in it there was a continuous hell. When the buzz stops, you're in danger, the flying bomb in near! - one tough rule learned during the horrific raids. How did the poeple manage to survive? Did they stand together or it was every man for himself? This series tries to investigate the human part of the blitz - apart from the bombs, there were victims. People. Fear. Courage.
