[edit] Information

One of nature's greatest gatherings takes place in the Aleutian Islands off the coast of Alaska. For a short time each year, this remote and stormy ocean becomes packed with 10 million sea birds and 500 whales. This overwhelming assemblage of wild creatures, including krill, herrings, whales, and sea birds, invades the sea for just a few hours. Local people call it "Aleutian Magic" but not many have witnessed this phenomenon or even know where it occurs. The program will explore its spell with a team of scientists who seek to observe the marvel themselves and unravel its secrets.
