[edit] Information
The twin-engine P-38 Lightning flew 100 miles per hour faster than any other plane in the Allied fleet, and here you'll see this groundbreaking aircraft from the drawing board to sorties over the Pacific. Though primarily a fighter, it could carry a bomb load comparable to the early B-17s, and its high altitude capabilities made it ideal for reconnaissance missions. Features rare color footage of the P-38 in action and interviews with the men who flew it. -- All DVD Extras joined to the film --
