Meteorite Men: Series 2 Geoff and Steve are at it again scouring the globe for meteorites in the hopes of learning more about Earth's history. Watch as they return to their top-secret location in Kansas to investigate a rare pallasite meteorite, travel to the Atacama Desert in Chile to explore two regions--Imilac and Vaca Muerta, home to the rarest of all meteorites and much more

Geoff and Steve return to their confidential "Alpha" site, but this time they have a new secret weapon. During a research and development visit to Orange County Choppers in New York, they help plan a monster meteorite hunting motorcycle, delivered to them by American Chopper star Paul Senior.

[edit] Imilac and Vaca Muerta

In the first-ever overseas Meteorite Men episode Steve and Geoff revisit the very site where their hunting partnership began way back in 1997: the Imilac pallasite strewnfield high in Chile's Atacama Desert.

This 1,509ft in diameter crater is one of the best-preserved meteorite craters on the planet. Measuring 34m deep, the Monturaqui Crater is often compared to the Bonneville Crater on Mars

Using Doppler radar and eyewitness testimony, the Meteorite Men track a strewnfield down to Dugway Military Base. Military officials grant Geoff and Steve exclusive access to the dangerous ammunition testing grounds to search for peices of the fall.

On April 14, 2010, a fireball lit up the night sky. The sonic boom was heard for miles. As perhaps, the most publicized meteorite fall in history, swarms of meteorite hunters flooded the scene in hopes of securing a piece of this famed fireball.

Geoff and Steve cross the Arctic Circle and head north on one of their most daring expeditions yet. With the help of a brilliant Swedish meteorite-hunting family, the guys will attempt to uncover ancient space rocks that were transported by glaciers during the last Ice Age.

[edit] Australia 1 Mundrabilla

The Mundrabilla iron meteorites are known for their zoomorphic shapes. 700,000 years ago the massive meteoroid showered along a strewnfield of over 80km long. The largest masses were recovered in 1966 and tipped the scales at 16 tons and 6 tons.

The Henbury Meteorite Craters consist of twelve craters that stretch across central Australia's outback. This engraved record of an ancient meteorite shower 4,700 years ago was the inspiration for Aboriginal folklore and a shadow of dark superstition
