Alan Yentob presents a profile of the late American playwright and essayist Arthur Miller. The spotlight falls on Finishing the Picture, which documents his relationship with Marilyn Monroe during the filming of The Misfits in 1960. Yentob also takes a retrospective look at his celebrated plays Death of a Salesman, All My Sons and The Crucible. Featuring interviews with the writer at his house in Connecticut, gleaning his views on the political scene and what he believed to be the failure of the American Dream.
